Let’s welcome Shabbat together in the unique space of the Galicia Jewish Museum, where the memory of the past and the spirit of the present dwell together. The services will be lead by Rabbi Tanya Segal, first full-time female Rabbi in Poland.

Teatr Midraszowy – Sztuka. W pięciu aktach | Midrash Theatre – Five (P)Arts

Najnowsza produkcja Teatru Midraszowego i imponująca kolaboracja wielu artystów związanych z Beit Kraków pod kierownictwem Rabin Tanji Segal. „Sztuka. W pięciu aktach” inspirowana tekstami Księgi Pięciu Megilot oraz pomysłami uczestników projektu Midrasz Lab. Stanowi próbę współczesnej interpretacji Pieśni nad Pieśniami za pomocą pięciu różnych języków sztuki.

The new production of the Midrash Theatre and an unprecedented collaboration of artists connected to Beit Kraków under the direction of Rabbi Tanya Segal. „Five (P)Arts” is inspired by the texts of Five Megilot and the work of the Midrash Lab participants. It is an attempt at an modern interpretation of the Song of Songs with five different languages of art.

Teatr Midraszowy – Tajemnice Mojej Babci | Midrash Theatre – Mysteries of My Grandma

Spektakl Tajemnice Mojej Babci, w reżyserii Rabin Tanyi Segal, został oparty na prawdziwych historiach o poszukiwaniu swojej tożsamości, fragmentach ‘Księgi Zoharu’ oraz interakcję z wystawą ‘Ślady pamięci’.

Dwie aktorki – dwie tożsamości tej samej osoby, próbują uporać się z pomieszaniem polsko-żydowskiej rzeczywistości wypływającej z ich wspomnień. Oprawę muzyczną przedstawienia stanowi występ nowatorskiego kompozytora i muzyka Borisa Malkovskiego. Występują: Patrycja Zywert i Agnieszka Bała.

The Mysteries of My Grandma production, directed by Rabbi Tanya Segal is based on true stories of search for one’s identity, fragments from the ‘Book of Zohar’ and the interaction with the ‘Traces of Memory’ exhibit.

Two actresses – two identites of the same person, both trying to deal with the complexity of the Polish-Jewish reality that flows from their memories. Starring Patrycja Zywert and Agnieszka Bała, featuring a stunning performance of a cutting-edge Israeli composer and musician Boris Malkovsky.
